The 2011 Coming Together Newton County Festival benefiting The Arts Association of Newton County and Washington Street Community Center will be held on Sunday May 15, 2011 in the historic town square in Covington, GA.

This is the first annual festival of Newton County and we plan to showcase cars, music, history of Newton County as well as where we are headed as a community.   We hope to host over 150 cars, present local musicians, educate about new and exciting opportunities in Newton County and involve the entire community for what we think is going to be a magnificent event.

Coming Together Newton County is a chance for everyone to see how spectacular this town is and what we have to offer for each person.  Main Street Covington and Commissioner Lanier Sims have teamed up to create a day that will soon become a tradition Newton County.  Our vision to highlight our local businesses, organizations, resources and history in Newton County for a day and hope they become a staple in your lifestyle.

The Car show is open to all car years.   Don’t worry guys your old car won’t be judged with a new car.  Pre Registration is $20 and $25 day of show.  All Preregistration must Be in by Friday May13th.Trophies given to the top 50 cars and trucks and 10 Best of’s.
